Japanese Lucky Owls

These little cuties are so quick and easy to make and 3 of them made lovely little presents for Ruby's Kindy teachers ( we changed kindys recently) so to say good bye and thankyou, we gave them a lucky owl. I have been doing a lot of crafting lately, (and not a lot of scrapbooking) I have made lavender bags, hanging lavender hearts and pearl bead coat hangers for Christmas pressies this year, i am determined to be organised. I have decided that we are having a Handmade Christmas this year, not only will it save me money, it will be much more personal because the gifts will be made my me. I will add the photos of my little creations as I take them.

Place cards for the Lion's Club

I have been a very busy girl in the last few weeks, I was lucky enough to be involved in the Cleveland Bay Lions Club of Townsville's 50th Aniversary dinner, I made the place cards and the little purple boxes for chocolate treats for the ladies. The mens place cards had a yellow bow tie and the ladies had a purple ribbon in the hair. The little lion is actually a "High Hopes" stamp. They were very time consuming (all 121 of them!) but I was very happy with the result and they were enjoyed by everyone who attended the dinner, which is why I love to create. It makes me happy and it is a bonus when other people enjoy your efforts as well.

Ruby's 4th Birthday Party

Not a very spectacular cake on the outside, but when you cut it, it was pretty awesome!

We had several little princesses arrive for our "Snow Whites" Princess Party at the Castle. (Snow White makes a regular appearance at our house now, Ruby dissapears and Snow White demands to be addressed like a princess should!) Ruby's party invites where made with the princess and castle stamps from the Kaszazz range, I will include a photo of them next post.

Team Training Day

I haven't posted anything on my blog since April but since I attended our Kaszazz Team training day today I have decided to get my finger out and share some of our new and exciting products and some of the other crafty things I have been getting up to. I hope you are ready for lots of photos!

Our New Product Release

This photo is of the Romance Frames we created with my Lovely Ingham Ladies (frame design by Sonia Edwards - 2H504)
Hello to all the Lovely Ingham Ladies, I hope to be back up there soon (you are all in need of a Smooch demo !)
Firstly, Thankyou to all the new ladies who have attended one of my workshops recently, it is so nice to meet new people and create new friends. We had a great night at the Friday Midnight Madness Social Scrap. We went past our 12am curfew and it was almost 2am when I finally got into Bed.
I had an open house day for our new products catalogue (which is available now, if you want one drop me a quick email and I will pop one in the post) We all had a play with our new smooch and smooch spritz products. I am addicted they are awesome, I am plotting to also have everyone addicted to them as well, so becareful if you do attend a smooch demo you may fall under the smooch spell. Everyone who placed an order that day will go into the draw for a goodie bag. The winner will be notified very soon.
On to the new stuff! I had a blast at our Team Training Day, we got to play with a range of our new products. We did a shrinky dink project which was a lot of fun. The above photos are new techniques with smooch spritz and smooch to create a marbled effect, lots of fun and very effective. (smooch paint marbling card designed by Naomi Elliot-DEM335)
How cool are our new jumbo blooms and the jumbo spotty brads. I have been playing with them today since my order arrived and I am in love. I will put some photos up soon of the projects I have been working on. Don't forget to put your entries into the Townsville Show Scrapbooking Section, you are all very talented, it is an opportunity to show off ! If you want the details I can get you a copy of the guide lines. That's about it for tonight, must be off to bed, I will just get comfy and usually a little Bear will crawl in one side and not long after I will be joined by my little (big beetle)on the other side. I need to get some beauty sleep in before all this bed hopping starts. Happy Scrapping!

May Workshop Email

The workshop email is finally done (with a little help from my Lily Bear, I had just started it and walked away from the computer and being the clever little bear she is, she sent it on me!. (if you didn't get it make sure you email me for a copy) Those of you who did get it, you would have got the Lily Bear version first, so just ignore it. Take a look at the cute Mother's Day gifts and Cards we made at the workshop on Saturday. A sweet (smelly) little gift handmade for Mum or that special lady in your life!
